I was barely able to grab one before being eaten by the Piranha. I had to backtrack to the Tomb with all the Piranha for a couple of underwater survivor caches. Especially forgetting something has already been collected-given all the extended periods of just running around. Not saying anyone forgot what they did, but maybe the gold pick-up is glitched in general.Īnything is possible. Same with the jade pickup at the north end of the lake.
So it looks like you haven't found it even when you have. I don't know if this is relevant, but the gold icon (like the various Challenge Tomb icons) goes from grayed out back to white even after you've found the gold.
